Today Polish film "Kler" ("Clergy") directed by Wojciech Smarzowski (pictured on the right) had it's official theatrical premiere. Because it is such terrible propaganda crap, I simply couldn't resist to compare it outright to the infamous 1940 nazi-German propaganda flick "Jew Süss" (original German title: "Jud Süss"), because the resemblance is just uncanny. Albeit Smarzowski's flick is anti-Catholic, while the nazi flick was antisemitic, they both employ in their propaganda exactly the same tricks and both consist of just the negative cliches cobbled together into some sort of story... hence my title: "Jew Süss, Polish version". And yes, I specially chose this photo of Smarzowski's face exactly for his resemblance to both the original 1940 actor and the 2010 remake's actor playing the jew Süss (pictured on the left).
