Merry "x-mas"
Merry "x-mas"
Seriously, people. What a red-nosed reindeer and a fat guy from Coca-Cola commercials have to do with the celebrations of birth of Jesus Christ, a.k.a. Christmas?!
I can't believe I have received a Christmas postcard picturing such abomination from my friends, so let me ask you this:
Do you send to i.e. religious Jewish folks a Happy Hanukkah wishes with some weird animals and a character from a commercials in them?! No, you don't.
Do you wish them Happy "Ha-kah" instead of Hanukkah? No, you don't.
It goes exactly the same about all other religions and their celebrations. No one present them in a disrespectful manner.
Yet some people believe they have the rights to spit on a Christian religious celebrations by calling them "X-mas" and picturing Coca-Cola advertisement character with additional fictional animal character.
I understand non-Christians don't care about it, but my Jewish, Buddhist and Muslim friends - please think about it. Once an exception to mock one religion is widespread and becomes the norm, it won't be long when YOUR religion will become the next target of mass-mockery. It might take 50 years, but you bet it will happen, because those leftist a-holes who are deconstructing Christianity at present - they won't stop. For their goal is removal of all religions, not just Christianity. Mark my words.
Merry Christmas!
